Job Description

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is recruiting candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and protecting the citizens of India.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
• Salary/Payscale: ₹35,400-₹1,12,400 (Level 6)

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will have 200 questions (200 marks) divided into four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 marks), General Knowledge and General Awareness (50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), and English Comprehension (50 marks). Paper II will have 200 questions (200 marks) divided into two sections: English Language and Comprehension (200 marks) and Quantitative Ability (200 marks).
